The usual fortnightly skin and hide sales were held here yesterday. Prices were as follow :—: — Sheepskins. — Halfbred, 9£d ; fine crossbred, 9d to 9fd ; medium coarse crossbred. Bsd to 9J ; short to half- wools, 6d to 7id ; dead and damaged crossbred, 6d to 7|d ; inferior and badly damaged, 2d to s|d j lambs, 6d to 8d ; damp, aalted, aaid green, 6s to 7s; pelte, Is 8d tq 3s 4d. Hides.— Ox, heavy, 601b up, &id to 9|d; ox, medium, 501b to 591b, 9gd to 9|d j ox, light, 491b and under, B]d to 9£d ; cow, heavy, 551b and over, 9sd to 9id ; cow, medium, 421b to 541b, 9^d to 9id ; cow, light, under 421b. 84d to 9Jd ; cut, slippy, and inferior, 6±d to Bid ; bull stag, s|d to 6^d ; yearlings, 9£d to iQJd ; calf, superior, lid to 12|d ; calf, medium, to good, lOid to 12d ; calf, damaged, 6d to lOAd.
