(By Telegraph— Press Association— Copyright) (Received Docember 26, 10.30 a.m.) PERTH, This Day. There are 2000 rolonred divers idle at Brooine owing to the depression in the pearl-shelling industry. Mr. Andrew Fisher (Prime Mmi&ter) has declined to accept Mr. Scaddon's (Premier) suggestion that the Federal Government should deport all indentured coloured divers until the crisis is over; or, alternatively, to assist in relieving distress. Mr. Fisher holds that the cost of deporting tho men must be borno by i their employers.
