The blade ie of 18 on rut gold, and on it is mounted the Npw Zenlnnd coat of iirms beautifully carved on a separate piece ot goitl. At" the bead of the blade in .'ionic excellent Maori poioll work to give a roalibtic New Zealand touch to tho trovvel. Tho handle is of greenstone, mid is xiummintcd by a Kold crown of exquisite Workmanship. Die work was all carried out. in M'v.sis. Young's workshops, and reflects the greatost credit on the firm. Tho U-ovnol is for pre&enlftlion lo His Majesty King George by the New Viouliuid Government on tbe occasion ot hiV Living Ihe foundation stone of the I\V\\ Zealand Building in London some time in February of next year.
