Dramatic incidents in th© forest fight* ing between Cc-mpiegne and Chftntuly, in Northern France, are many (say*' a correspondent of the Morning Port). Among these may be mentioned the grim, work at the fishponds near Erehonville. These ancient artificial ponds lie shut in by a bank of high trees, with, a dozen yards or so of green sward to theii brink. They harbour venerable carp, of great siite and age. In normal times they are silent and retired, visited but rarely by privileged anglers. Driving the enemy through the woods, one of the Highland regiment* (1 think it was the Seaforths, but cannot confirm) hustled their foe* right into the fishponds, jumping in after them up to the middle to finish them in the water, which they Bay was packed with bodies. A little sylvan hostelry entitled "Rendezvous de« Chasseurs" was the scene of a sharp little ttfsele. It stands at the junction of four cross roads right in the forest. Swinging round the corner came a British regiment, to find iteelf under fire from the German machine guns posted on tie left-hand side of the road. Quick a* lightning our men took cover, and the little inn became the centre of a fierce fight. Using the little pleaeure arbors in the gardens as cover, working along the banks bordering the road, our men, with the- loss of only six, who Ml at the first discharge of the ma« chine guns, got close, and routed the German* with, heavy loss, capturing all the guns. When thousands praise Nazoi, that sterling remedy for coughs, cold*,, influ* enza, and sort throat, they mean Nmol. If you want to praise it, be ante you ask Voitr chemist for Nazol. Eighteenpeitce buys 60 doses. A few drops taken on sugar or alowly inhaled will shift the most obstinate cold. Young and old c*tt. use it.— Advt..
