The following appointments of N.C.O.'s have been approved: — Headquarters Staff: Corporal L. Sim to be sergeant ; Private L. G. Morrison to be sergeant ; Private G. Macdonald l to be sergeant. \ Howitzer Battery: Sergeant A. S. Milne to be sergeant-major ; Corporal R. Gordon to be sergeant ; Corporal S. N. Shires to be sergeant ; Gunner S. W. Peed to be orderly room clerk ; Gunner J. T. Vibert to be fitter. Otago.— lnfantry Battalion : Corporal G. H. Doods to be sergeant ; LanceCorporal T J. Marchbanks to be corporal. An anonymous donor (per Mr. C. J. Jennings) has donated £1 15s to the 2nd Reinforcement Contingent Fund.
