AN IMPORTANT CAPTURE COMMAND OF A DIRECT ROAD AND A PORT. PETROGRAD, Bth December. The capture of Sarai Baschkala, whero there were large military stores, opens the direct road to Van, and gives the Russians the most flourishing port in Armenia. This success was largely due to Armenian priests acting as guides and showing paths which enabled a flanking movement to be made.
