CHRISTCIIURCH; Bth December.' The grain market is practically lifeleg? at present, there' being no grain offering. There appear to be" no further stocks of 1 wheat' held - by growers, and millers have only short supplies 'on' hand. Complaints are being, made that millers will not supply flour, but they «ay they are endeavouring to keep thenregular, customers going. One miller has sent -some flour to Dunedin. There is little business passing in oats, as supplies are in very small compass. Potatoes are easier, as the season is now practically ovct and new potatoes are> becoming . more plentiful. Old potatoes are mostly wanted for use on coastal vessels.- The price is now. £3. t0 £3 5s atcountry stations.
