THE EMPRESS THEATRE.

"There were crowded sessions, at the Empress Theatre continuous pictures last evening, the leading attraction being- the lengthy " star " film " Animated History, of the War to Date." The production,' which occupies about an hour in the screening, depicts many remarkable scenes of actual warfare in Belgium. The troops going into action, engaging the enemy, and retiring from the firing line are vividly displayed. There is another up-to-date war film, "Down with the Huns " (Eclair War Special No.- 6), and a collection of dramatic and comic productions. The final presentation df the series is announced for this evening. A new programme will be shown to-mor-row. The principal election results will bs screened during to-morrow evening.
