BELGIAN XMAS SHILLING FUND

Tho response to tho appeal for subscriptions to the. Belgian Shilling Fund has boon prompt and generous, in Wellington a,lonq tho ladies have collected over £500 in" a few days; and the committee has no doubt that similar results havo been obtained elsewhere. Tho committee has set out to raise £20,000, and only a fortnight and a. fow days remain in which to collect it. The committee acknowledges tho following amounts: —
