EXPEDITIONARY VOTES
TO THE EDITOR. Sir, — 1 was very much surprised to see in last night's issue of your paper an announcement that Sir Joseph Ward had directed that all votes cast by members of the Expeditionary Force for the Liberal Party be credited to Mr. Moore. I am an old Liberal, and I am quite sure that every true Liberal will join with 'me in entering a protest against such action. Mr. Moore was in the second ballot last election, and had the assistance of both Mr. Luke and Mr. Fitzgerald, and even then • signally failed. I ask what authority has Sir Joseph Ward in handing over the Expeditionary Force votes to Mr. Moore. — I am, etc.. LYALL BAY.
