PROHIBITION MEETING
The attention of the public is dragyn in an advertisement elsewhere to a Prohibition meeting to be held in the Town Hall next Friday at 8 p.ijj. The main topic of discussion will be the recently formed "Moderate League," and the speakers undertake to show that this League is simply an arm of the liquor tramc.
"He scored a distinct success as a, raconteur," " His clever and humourous performance pleased the audience immensely," "He made a. decided hit," and " He was frequently encored," are specimens of press comments on performances of Mr. Frank Wright, the humourist and entertainer, who is to appear at the Town Hall Concert Chamber next Wednesday evening. The only suggestion of " make up " used by Mr. Wright in his entertainment is in his sketch, "Hats and Faces." In this he requisitions several hats of different shapes and sizes, but uses no make-up on th© face. Mr. Wright will be assisted by Miss Mina Caldow, Miss -Gladys Watkine, and Mr. Sydney Allright.
