SATURDAY'S GAMES A blustering northerly wind did not add much to the pleasure of bowling on Saturday, but, in spite of the weather conditions,_ the greens were well occupied and some interesting games were played. The following results are to hand : — DIAMOND BUCKLES. In a match for the Diamond Buckles on the Wellington green between Newtown (Richards and Prince) and Wellington (Wylie and Ballinger), the Newtown pair won by 27 to 15. EDWIN FEATHERS. A challenging team from Te Hiwi visited the Newtown Green on Saturday and played a match for the .above trophies. The scores were:— Newtown. J. M. Brackenridge, Spiers, J. Sexton, J.
