Brougham Hill courts were occupied on Saturday by some 66 members, when the handicap competitions were contested, and resulted as follow:— Men's Handicap Singles.— H. V. Howe (owes 12) defeated Staples (14), 50-44; Armstrong (10) defeated Ross (12), 50-32; G. Grace (10) defeated Instone (8), 50-41; Rundle (4) defeated Wilson (14), 50-47 ; H. V. Howe (owes 12) defeated Jones (16), 50-35 ; Morison (8) defeated Box (14), 50-36; Morison (8) defeated Rout (12), 50-37. Men's Handicap Doubles.— Andrews and G. Grace (14) defeated Ross and Staples (18), 50-44; J. A. B. and H. V. Howe fdwe 6) defeated Wilson and Jones (18), 50-46. Combined Handicap Doubles. — Mrs. Burton and Warsaw (Id) defeated Miss Yarrall and Ross i2O), 50-38; Miss Morgan and. Rout (12) defeated Mrs. Goldie and Butcher (owe 10), 50-34. Ladies' Handicap Singles.— Miss Yarrall (12) defeated Miss Andrews (12), I 40-37. [ Ladies' Handicap Doubles. — Mrs. I Howe and Miss Yarrall (14) defeated Misses I. and E. Stevens (scr.). 40-36; Misses Buchan and Miller (20) defeated Mrs. Norris and Miss Morgan (12), 40-33 ; Misses Buchan and Miller (20) defeated Mrs. Howe and Miss Yarrall (14), 40-35.
