DR. BUCK'S CAMPAIGN.
(BT TELBOfUPtt— PRESS ASSOCIATION.) WHANGAREI, This Day. Dr. Buck, xOpposition candidate for the Bay of Islands, opened his campaign at Hikurangi on Saturday night. Tho candidate condemned the Government administration for non-fulfilment of promises made. In reference to the Huntly disaster, he said the Reform 'Party had failed to introduce mining legislation to prevent the accident, a-hd added : " The Government must accept the responsi« bility of being guilty of manslaughter." A vote of thanks and confidence waa earned.
