WELCOME RAINS IN VICTORIA
MELBOURNE, Ist November. Rain continues, and is well .distributed, including fair falls in the Western districts and at Adelaide. The rain is well scattered, and though it is too late to save the bulk of the crops, it will greatly benefit the feeding, and save much starvation of stock.
