LAWN TENNIS
NEW ZEALAND ASSOCIATION ANNUAL MEETING. The twenty-ninth annual meeting „of the Council of the New Zealand Lawn Tennis Association was held last evening. Mr. M. E. Denniston (Taranald) presided, and the following delegates attended: — Messrß. Barry Keesitig (Auckland), G. Gore and P. White-Parsons (Canterbury), V. F. Grady, jun., and R. N. K. Swanston (Hawkes Bay), C. R. Howden and F. B. Spilsbury (Southland), and A. G. Henderson, D. M. Kean, and Fleming Ross (Wellington). It was decided to forward a cheque for £78 to the Prime Minister as a donation from the association towards the relief of distress in the Dominion consequent upon the war. It was left to the/Otago Association to deal with the appointment of six members to constitute the New Zealand Appeal Board. Both the Dannevirke and Masterton Associations applied for permission to hold their annual tournaments on the same dates January 21, 22, and 23). Hillard (London) ; management committee, Messrs. P. White-Parsons (Canterbury), M. E. Dennistou (Taranaki), Barry Keesing (Auckland), F. F. Grady (Hawkes Bay), Murray Kean, (Wellington), H. M.
