No whea« is offering by growers, and it is stated that there are very few holders in the country districts. There is a Jittlt enquiry for oats for the North Island, but little business is doing in either oats or chaff. Supplies required for the Expeditionary Force are now getting ready, and will absorb any that may be on offer. Potatoe« are still dull of sale at the low price of 20s at country stations.
