PROTESTANT DEMONSTRATION
To-morrow afternoon a Protestant Demonstration will be held in the Town Hall. A song service will be held at 2 o'clock, and at 2.30 the demonstration will begin. As all the church choirs of the city have been invited to lead the singing,' it is expected that a very large number will aBBemble to do their part. With such well known people as Miss E. Smith, Messrs. Frauk Johnstono, \Laslett Bxton, and R. S. AHwright giving solos, and Mr. H. Temple White_ presiding at the grand organ, the service promises to be a very pleasant one. In addition to this there will, be speeches from Canon Ecclea, of Woodrille, and Rev. J. Gibson Smith. A very limited number of early door tickets are available A collection will be takeu, and the net proceeds will be handed over to the Patriotic Funds.
