GERMAN GUNBOAT KOMET
1 ARRIVAL AT SYDNEY. i _____ i SYDNEY, 29th October. ! The German gunboat Komet, recently ! captured, has arrived with German prisoners on board, including the exGovernor of New Guinea. A SURPRISE FOR THE CAPTAIN. (Received October 30, 10.30 a>m.) SYDNEY, 29th October. The story brought by the Komet shows that she Was located with the assistance of natives hidden in a small harbour. The capturers were aboard before anyone excepting the captain was awake. The captain had just left his bunk and was beginning to shave when suddenly his cabin door was opened, and he turned and found himself looking down a barrel of a- revolver.
