M. PAULHAN TRAVERSES GERMAN LINES. HIS MOTOR HIT. LONDON, 28th October M. Paulhan, the celebrated, airman (now at* the front), flew to a height 6f eight thousand f ee t all<^ traversed the German Knee towards Amiens. He used a machine gtin and destroyed a German aeroplane. The enemy's bullet* hit the motor of Paulhan'a machine, and he descended near th© French force. Uhlan* appeared, and Paulha-n's mechanic worked the gun, in co-operation with the infantry, the enemy being driven off.
