GERMANS SHORT OF SUPPLIES
MUST UTILISE RESOURCES OF COUNTRY DETERIORATION IN DISCIPLINE (Received Octobe* 30, 9.30 a.m.) r LONDON, 29th October. An extract from a captured copy of Orders belonging to the German Fourteenth Reserve Corps, dated 7th October, suggests deterioration in genera! discipline. One corps, also, had a shortage of supplies. Tho Orders notified the troops that they can no longer count on regular supplies, and must utilise the resources of the country as much as possible, aft the regulations as to the use of rations will be strictly obserred.
