At Caulfield Waltz put up the "star" performance of the morning, (beatiujgi Owen Roe over a mile and a-half in 2nrin 36§sec, the first half' mile being done in 50sec. Lilyveil ran nine- furlongs on the sand in Imin 58£ eec, Gkdwyn ten on the sand in 2min 15sec, Sylvanmore ten in 2min i2£sec, Aurifer ten in 2mm 14sec, and Lochano ten in 2min 10£ sec. Bracken rides St. Carwyne in the Cup.
