What .Bills did he propose to slaughter? The Prime Minister said he proposed to ask members lo conclude the *ession on Saturday night, but he could not «to that without assistance. A member : You can't do it. Mr. Maasey • " Then t am quite prepared to go on. There is no earthly '•eason why we shouldn't, do it." He proposed, he added, to ask the House to deal that evenihg with th 6 Public Works Estimates and to consult' the Leader of tho Opposition n« to how long the sitting should last. On Friday the Mining Bills would be considered, and he • saw no reason why the House should not reach the Supplementary Estimates on Saturday. If members would help him he was prepared to s close on Saturday. If not he was prepared to go on for another week. Then the House started to work.
