The track is in capital order. Results: — Trial Handicap, of five furlongs. — Gasolene, 1; Parlovna, 2; Divorce, 3. An exciting finish ; won by three-quar-ters of a length. Yeodel, Bayform, and Grand Cup were scratched. Time lmin 4 3-ssec. Paroa Handicap, seven furlongs. — The Nut 1, Forest Belle 2, Missile 3. Also started — Optician and Taione. Won by two lengths. Metropolitan Handicap, one mile and a-quarter. — Waipunui 1, Glencannich 2, Waikehua 3. Thrave and Bonny Boy also started. Won by a length and ahalf. Time, 2min 15 3-ssec." GORE SPRING MEETING GORE, This Day. For the second day of the Gore Spring Meeting there is a large attendance and excellent weather. Results: — Dominion Hack Handicap, six furlongs.— Sartomart 1, Marvelite 2, Martuk 3. Scratched— Geralda, Olgar Kolmar, Glensponse. Won by half a length. Time, lmin 15 2-ssec.
