DEADLY RECEPTION FOR LANDING PARTY
NAVAL MEN WAYLAID BY GERMANS. (Received October 26, 10 a.m.) _ PARK, 25>h October. While a British naval shore party with a machine gun were landing in Belgium, German sharpshooters lying, on the sand dunes picked off the men, and only *, handful escaped. The gun was lost.
