SHORTT'S THEATRE.
A big holiday programme has been secured by the management of Shortt's continuous theatre, Willis-stieet. "An Angel Unawares" is the "star" feature, being a play of considerable force. Mrs. Dixon's ungovernable temper finally brings about a separation from her husband. In the years that pass the husband longs for the companionship of his wife, but finally seeks the company of one of his factory girls. Grace lives with a. widow and asks permission to entertain a gentleman friend. The widow consents, and Grace presents, to her astonishment, the widow's husband, ultimately' sacrificing^ all fot the man she loves. Supporting items include "The Ruins of Termonde" (a war topical), "Traffic in Soles" (comedy), "Adrift." (drama), the Warwick Chronicle, and several others.
