MAYOR'S FUND.

Mr. Walter Kirby, assisted by leading artists, will give a concert in the Grand Opera House to-morrow evening at 8 o'clock. The concert will be under the patronage of Their Excellencies the Governor and Lady Liverpool, and the theatre has been lent free of charge by Messrs. J. C. Williamson, Ltd. The whole of the proceeds are to be devoted to the Huntly Relief Fund, and it is hoped that the many claims upon the public arising from the war will not prevent a liberal response to a deserving • cause at our own doors.
