TO-NIGHT'S PATRIOTIC CONCERT

♦ A final reminder of the patriotic event in St. Thomas's Hall, Wellington South, this evening appears in our advertising columns. A varied programme of high order has been arranged, and citizens are assured of an enjoyable evening. Items are to be rendered by the Wellington Gas Company's orchestra, the Misses Reid, Misses L. Clapshaw, W. Lonsdale, F. M'Donald, and N. Nees, and Messrs. W. E. Crewes, Nuttell, and G. Holloway. The second half of the entertainment will be almost wholly devoted to an operetta, which will be produced with special scenery and effects.
