PALMERSTON NORTH SHOW
An item of interest to flaxmillers and employe^ appears in the comprehensive schedule issued by the Manawatu and West Coast A. and P. Association for their Spring Show. This is a competition for best parcel of unscutched hemp (about 561b). Prizes are £3, £2, ad' £1, and the stripper-keepers turning out the first and second winning parcels each have a gold and _ silver medal respectively. The foregoing is one of the many directions in which this progressive association assists by practical encouragement the furtherance of the Dominion's industry and commerce.
