The Navy League proposes to celebrate the 109 th anniversary of Trafalgar Day by a patriotic demonstration at the Town Hall on tho evening of the 21st October. Juvenile members and their parents aro to have free admission to tho gallery. Moving pictures of H.M.S. Now Zealand and lantern slides of interesting subjects are to be shown, and thcro arc to bii patriotic songs and choruses. Tlie anniversary services of tho Thorn* don Methodist Sunday Schools will be held in the Moloswortii-strcet Church tomorrow. The sihging of tho scholars \Vill bo a special feature, and will bo under tho conduclorship of Mr, T. Sims. The annual scholars' entertainment on Wednesday evening will conclude the celebration. A patriotic concert will bo given in tho Lyceum Theatre, Potonc, on Fridov, 2nd October. Miss Flora ShaW, New Zealand's champion national dancer, has arranged a first-claes programme.
