EXPEDITIONARY FORCE

DEPARTURE POSTPONED. His Excellency the Governor received advice from the Imperial Government early this morning that the New Zealand Expeditionary Force will not sail from the Dominion for some little time. The Governor is anxious, for obvious reasons^ to take the people into his. con» fidence on this matter ai the earliest possible moment. He would earnestly request them not to make this the subject of comment, a* the delay is solely caused by the exigencies of the service when such extensive operations are every* where in progress. This applies as well to the Expeditionary Forces of the other overseas Dominions.
