(»Y TELEGRAPH—PRESS ASSOCIATION.) NEW PLYMOUTH, This Day. TheTaranaki Oil Wells report encouragingly of operations at No. 2 well, which has been deepened and recased. A very active new gas vein was struck this morning at 2750 feet, and after two hours began to force oil to the surface. It is still violent and the oil is improving. The Rotary bore and No. 3 also continue to yield well. I
