Hurdles Handicap, of 90 sovsj one. mile and a-half.—Parable, 11.3, 1; Optician, 9.0, 2; Canterbury, 10.2, 3. Scratched—Merry Valet. Won easily by six lengths. Stewards' Stakes, six furlongs—John Bunyan 1, Moddite 2, Golden Morn 3. All started. A great finish. Won by a head. Time, lmin 17sec.
