INQUEST

(IT TELBGRAPH.— PRBSS ASSOCIATION.) DUNEDIN, This Day. An inquest was hold at Taieri Ferry last evening on the body of Mr. W. B. Appleby, headmaster of Novell's Flat School, who has been missing since 22nd August, and whose body was found in the Taieri River on Tuesday. The evidence showed that deceased 'had no worries, financial or otherwise, was a teetotaller, and in lv's normal state of mind on the day he disappeared. A verdict of found drowned was returned, there being no evidence to show how deceased got into the water.
