CANADIAN TROOPS FOR THE FRONT

INCREASE IN NUMERICAL STRENGTH. LONDON, 22nd September. The Canadian Expeditionary Force has been increased to 31.200 men, and 7500 horses. Of this number 22,500 will join the firing line, and the remainder will act as a reserve. The first contingent will take SOO machine guns.
