COSSACKS SEIZE FEMALE PRISONERS
IN EAST PRUSSIA. PETROGRAD, 22nd September. Many women were among the prisoners captured during the fighting on the East Prussian frontier. Cossacks seized over one hundred at Willenburg. One "woman, aged seventy years, maddened at the,loss of oons and grandsons, plimbed to-the belirg-cj; a church
and fired on the Russians with a machine-gun. She wounded fifteen before she was captured.
