The Daily Chronicles Petrograd correspondent states that the Germans landed at Memel, and penetrated to Jurburg. Others from the Masurian Lakes occupied feuwalki and Mariampol, and were checked there on Friday last. [Memel is an important seaport at the noi th-eastern extremity of Prussia, within ten miles of Russian territory. The River Memel. or Memen, nuifi out of Russian into Germany, and hi its Russian course Forms' the eastern boundary of the proving of Suwalki, which adjoins eastern Prussia.
