SEAMEN'S SOCIAL CLUB
A " social " was held last evening in the Naval Boating Club's vooniß in connection with the Seamen's Social Club (late workers Missions to Seamen). The programme was arranged by Miss A. M. Barlley and Mr. Walter Perrins (Remuera), and included Misses Mabel, Dix and Vera Lenzin^ and Messrs. Leo Buckridge and Oswin. The members of tho Remuera Minstrel Troupe (Messrs. Walter Perrins, Frank Tucker, Osborne, and I1".I 1 ". Hall) were highly appreciated in their latost London successes. During the evening competitions, refreshments, and prizes were most delightfully disposed of. The president (Mr. Gardner) wished all the sailors present a safe journey, and hoped that they would bo spared to enjoy many more sociable evenings with the Seamen's Social Club. Miss Ethel M. Bartley acted as accompanist.
