CADET INJURED IN TRAM ACCIDENT
(BY TELEORAPH. — PT.ESS ASSOCIATION.) ' CHRISTCHURCH, 17th Sept. R. Perreau, thirteen and a half years of age, a High School cadet, fell from a tramcar this evening and the trailer passed over one leg, which was so severely crushed that it had to be amputated. A large party of cadets were returning ffoon the rifle range and it is stated that the lad jumped from the( car in defiance of orders, ■which were that nobody should alight till Cathedral-square was reached.
