News by the Waitomo from Fiji states that the Japanese steamer Fukokii Maru, which was turned away from Apia by the German officials after ehe had coaled the German warships at Caroline Islands, called at Suva for coal.- She was allowed thirty tons -for the voyage to Newcastle. On leaving the port she struck twice on a coral reef, but sustained no serious damage, and was floated off.
