IRISH TROOPS AMBUSCADED SURVIVORS' DIFFICULT ESCAPE. (lIMES AND SYDNKY SUN SFtIVICES.) (Received September 8, 8 a.m.) LONDON. 7th September. A dozen Dublin Fusiliers! at Boulogne state that a hundred of their regiment, while marching along the road, were subjected to a terrific hail of bullets from thousands of Germans ambushed in the fields on both sides. Scores were killed, and the esca-pees hid for cix day.* in a barn. They buried their uniforms, dodged the Germans, and reached Boulogne. They are fit, and are rejoining their regiment at the front.
