AN UNCANNY ACQUAINTANCE
WITH SIR JOHN FRENCH'S , HEADQUARTERS. LONDON, 7th September. The Daily Mail's Rouen correspondent states that throughout the British retirement from Mons to Compiegne the Germans were uncannily acquainted with Sir John French's headquarters, which were shelled at Le Cateau and St. Quentin.
