TO-MORROW'S RUGBY MATCH
One of the best Rugby matches of the season should be seen when Canterbury meet the local representatives at the Athletic Park to-morrow hi the annual inter-provincial contest. The southern learn has been on an extended lour of the North Island, and arrived from the Wairarapa this morning. Their record while on tour has been an excellent one. With the number of matches already played they must- have acquired combination among their players, and this was demonstrated in their match against a Wairarapa fifteen yesterday. Despite the fact that about one-half of the local Rugby players have volunteered for defence, a good team is available to represent the city to-rjorrow, and a keen, interesting game should result. As a preliminary to the big game the schools representative match will be played at 1.30.
