COMMERCIAL GROWTH OF GOOD IDEA.

Two years ago was born the idea that mothers in their homes could add the water and sweetening necessary in their family cough and cold remedy, just as easily as it could be done by the chemist to whom the idea occurred! It would effect a large saving in family cough* mixture expenses. \ Firm in his belief that mothers aid fathers would appreciate the plan, the idea was at once made practicable, and Hean's Essence the result. To-day Hean's Essence is used in many thousands of homes thrdughout New Zealand. Its fame Has spread to Australia, where, in Sydney, a factory has been established for the supplying of Australian demands. Many hundreds of letters have been received' by the proprietor expressing appreciation of the medicinal value and money-saving qualities of this now famous preparation. The good news of how one bottle of Hean'a Essence makes a pint of finest family cough, cold, and sore throat remedy, and saves at least nine shillings, has quickly spread from home to home, and town to town. Yet this is not surprising, when ,it/is realised that a pint represents about eight ordinary eightcenpenny bottles. Full, yet simple, directions for adding the water and sweetening accompany each bottle, and a spare label is enclosed. Hean's Essence is now regularly sold by most chemists and grocers,- or sent to 'any address, post free, on receipt of price— 2s— from the Proprietor, G. W. Hean, Family Chemist, Wanganui. Notice how my name is spelt— H-E-A-N. Four letters only.— Advt.
