The Mapouriiu, which proceeded on to Nelson from rictoii this trip, was to leave the former port at 2 p.m. to-day for Picloit nnd Wellington, boing due here to-morrow mornihr. She is limed to sail again at 5 n,m. tomorrow for Picton and Nelson, culling ut Pictou on the return trip. . DELAYED ON THE WEST COAST. The weather on the West Coast continues unfavourable to shipping, und in consequence eeveral vessel* are delayed. There w.ib too much sea on the bar :vt Greymouth this morning to allow the colliers Pukaki, Rakaiujii, and wnnaka to cross. Yesterday the Aralmra was detained outside the bar at Greymoulh. MAITAI RKI'LACKS WILLOCHItA. It is announced that tho Mattai is to take up the running of the Willochra, which has been detained at Wellington. T The Mnttat is timed to eail at 5 p.m. on Thursday, PERSONAL. Mr. Campbell, purocr of the Willochra, has been granted holiday leave. Mr. Andrews, purser of the Tahiti, is to transfer to the Maitai in a fclmilar capacity. Captain W. Melntosh, late master of tho Kapuni, has joined the Ngfthere us second of* fleer in place of Mr. D. Siuelalr. Mr. IS, E. Low, chief engineer of the 8.8, Kamona, signed off the vessel's articles to« day. BERTHING MST. Vessels to arrive have been allotted bertlu as under;— , Orarl-Queen's Wharf, No. 1 (south). Mapourika— Queen's Wharf, No. 2 (south) Wnhine— Queen's Wharf, No. 4 (south). Owing to the heavy sea on the bar at Greymouth the Arahurx v,as competed to abandon her call at that port thlß trip. The vessel leaves WwstpoTt this afternoon for Wellington, via Nelson and Picton, and is duo hero tomorrow night. The Government steamer ninemoa, now on her periodical trip to northern lighthouses, finished wording East Cape to-day, and went on to Cutler Island. She is duo at Auckland tomorrow night. Sailing from Wellington for New Plymouth this evening the Corinna will subsequently visit Nelson, Picton, nnd Onehunga. From tho northern port she comes to Wellington, via New Plymouth, about to-morro\v week, and sails the same day for Dunedin. Transhipments ex the Stolzenfels .(from New York) are expected to arrive in Wellington tomorrow . With a part cargo from Liverpool the P. and S.
