A REGIMENT FOR HOME OB ABROAD. (RT TRLKGRAPH.— rUhSS ASSOCIATION.) AUCKLAND, This Day. A conference of prominent Labou? leaders authorised Lieut. -Colonel 801 lto offer tho Defence Department on behalf of Labour a regiment tor service at Homo or abroad. The speakers empliasised the fact that although Labour had had its troubles in the pasl ahd would have in the future, it would in time of a great crisis present a unite* front for tho Empire. Lieut. -Colonel Bell said he appreciated the fine spirit shown, and would have great pleasure in conveying Vl» offer to the Department.
