HORSES, VEHICLES, AND MOTOE CA>ES. LONDON, August 6. The War office has commandeered many horses, vehicles, and motor-cars in JiOndon. Most of the members have responded to the Automobile Club's appeal to placo cars at the War Office's disposal. Newspapers are experiencing difficulty owing to the shortage of paper, and are publishing small editions.
