MISSIONARY SOCIETY
At the auarterly meeting of tho We-1-linston Auxiliary of tho London Missionary Society, _ held at the Terrace Church last evening, Rev. J. R. Glasson presiding, tho following motion was proposed by Mr. Ewen, and seconded by Mr. C. W. Smith, and carried unanimously by those present :•— "That this meeting of tho Wellington Auxiliary of the L.M.S. yievi^ with tho grnvost concorn the crisis oxlatiUß among tho Christian hations of Europe, realising that such an example must affect tho power of missionary teaching. Wo pray thai; Almighty God may keep our hearts and minds free from unworthy excitement; that He may to rule tho actions of mom in His ojyn infinite wisdom! as to cause all things to work iosfethor for good. Wo further 1 pray that those directing tho destinies of our Empire may be guided by Him and bo justified in His sight."
