SUGGESTED APPOINTMENT AS WAR MINISTER. LONDON, 3rd August. The departure for Egypt of Earl Kitchener, who recently came to England and took his seat in the House of Lords, has been postponed* The Times suggests his appointment as War Minister to relieve Mr. Asquith.
