ANGLICAN SYNOD
PROCEEDINGS CONTINUED. ! The session of the Anglican Synod was continued yesterday afternoon- There was a full t attendance of delegates and his Lordship the Bishop of Wellington (Dr. Sprott) presided. Tho Rev. A. S. Innes Jones moved, and it was resolved :— "That this Synod commend to the sympathy of the Church in this diocese the great work carried on. by the British and Foreign Bible Society." On the motion of the Rev. G B. Stephenson it was resolved : "That the Synod commend to the clergy and laity the work in the Territorial camps, and asks for continued support." It was also decided : — "That the Military Affairs Committee consist of his Lordship the Bishop and Revs. G. B. Stephensonj H. Watson, A. M: Johnson, A. W. H. Compton, Messrs. R. L. Button, C. B. Burdekin, R,. G. House, and Captain Hall." Mr. G. Shirtcliffe was elected a trustee of the Wellington Diocesan Pension Fund Trust Board, and Mr. R. T. Badham was appointed Diocesan Auditor. Mr. F. J. Carter was appointed treasurer of the Pension Fund.
